It looks like this Holiday Season is going to be better than ever!  Take a look at some of the fun events to see in Nanaimo this December:

The 15th Annual Nanaimo Art Walk begins December 1st and features the work of more than 50 artists.  You'll be able to visit the private homes and studios in downtown Nanaimo and the Old City Quarter, plus there are plenty of great restaurants in the area to check out during your visit. 

The following weekend consider taking the self-guided Homes of Note Christmas Tour of wonderfully decorated homes from Cedar to North Nanaimo.  The tour takes place Friday December 6th and Saturday December 7th and includes lunch at the Grand Hotel.  

If you're looking for a worthy cause to contribute to, consider the Bears Matter Warm Buddy Fundraiser that takes place December 1st through December 24th.  All Warm Buddy gifts are tax free and all profits go to charity.  This free event takes place at the Country Club Centre at 3200 N. Island Highway in Nanaimo.

Does a Rock 'n Roll Christmas strike your fancy?  On December 18th the Port Theatre is hosting 5 all-star tribute artists in one spectacular show.  Rock 'n Roll Christmas features the works of Buddy, Jerry Lee, Little Richard, Fats Domino and Brenda Lee.
