The trees are starting to bud, tulips are starting to sprout, and Spring fever is definitely in the air.

After a long winter there's plenty to do in Nanaimo this April.  Here is a list of my top 3 favorites:

On Friday April 11th Beer Fest returns to Nanaimo, courtesy of the Nanaimo Kinsmen!  Sample a variety of local, imported and micro brews plus enjoy plenty of  food, live music and door prizes.  This year's participants include Longwood Brew Pub, Driftwood, Whistler Brewing, Bowen Island Brewing, Lonetree Cider, and Parallel 49 Brewing just to name a few.  But be forewarned, tickets for Beer Fest always sell out fast and tickets are not available at the door.  For more information call 250-585-2275
